- Maintain a strong controls environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve control issues, driving a culture of accountability and risk awareness across treasury activities.
- Oversee day-to-day treasury operational activities, ensuring efficient, effective, and well-controlled processes.
- Drive continuous improvement through process simplification, standardisation, and automation.
- Support the development and enhancement of treasury policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Ensure bank mandates, signatory arrangements, and treasury documentation remain accurate and up to date, noting that Group Treasury retains the governance framework and signatory authority.
- Drive the adoption of technology-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability across treasury operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Treasury Back-Office team, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Build strong relationships internally and with external banking partners.
- Coordinate workflows, deliverables, and timelines across locations, role modelling strong, values-led leadership throughout delivery.

Candidate Requirements

- A professional treasury qualification (ACT) and/or accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Significant Treasury Operations experience within an international organisation, ideally within an industry with high-volume transactions.
- Strong understanding of Treasury Controls & Governance, ideally with experience in implementing and developing new control processes for a business.
- Experience working with Treasury Management Systems (ideally FIS Integrity).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Treasury Operations, including settlements, confirmations, payments, and reconciliations, along with working knowledge of governance frameworks and risk management principles.
- Hands-on approach and strong relationship management abilities.
- Must have leadership experience, confident with training staff and ability to influence across multiple levels of the organisation.
