**Indirect Tax Technology Lead**

**Location:** Essex | Hybrid (4 days office-based)
**Compensation:** Up to £150,000 + Bonus + Car + Excellent Benefits

An international market-leading business is seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Tax Technology to act as the key link between Tax, Technology, and the wider business. This is a highly visible role focused on driving indirect tax transformation across Europe, with the opportunity to expand into a broader global remit over time.

The successful candidate will play a leading role in a major SAP S/4HANA implementation programme, expected to run for the next 4-5 years, while also overseeing the optimisation of the organisation's indirect tax technology landscape, including its Vertex tax engine.

**Key responsibilities include:**

- Leading indirect tax technology strategy and transformation initiatives.
- Acting as the primary interface between Tax, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Driving tax requirements within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Managing and challenging external tax technology providers, including Vertex.
- Overseeing tax data, reporting, and process optimisation across Europe.
- Managing one direct report, with scope to build out the team further.

The ideal candidate will combine strong indirect tax/VAT expertise with a solid technology background, bringing experience of ERP implementations, tax technology solutions, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
