About The Role
Interim FP&A Manager
3-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Competitive day rate
Central London | Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office)
I'm working exclusively with a large PE-backed international organisation to appoint an Interim FP&A Manager to join its Group Finance function on an initial 3-month contract. This is a highly visible role, sitting at the heart of a complex, debt-backed business with significant international operations. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, you'll play a key role in managing group liquidity, cash flow forecasting and leverage reporting, while providing critical cover during a permanent recruitment process.
The business operates across multiple international entities and requires an experienced finance professional who can quickly understand a complex environment, challenge assumptions and deliver accurate, insightful forecasting to senior stakeholders.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and enhancing group cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting
- Developing robust forecasting models to support decision making and capital allocation
- Assessing the impact of acquisitions, disposals and strategic initiatives on cash flow and leverage
- Supporting debt, covenant and net debt analysis
- Producing reporting and analysis for senior leadership, investors and lenders
- Supporting credit rating agency reviews and financing-related activities
- Partnering with finance teams across multiple international business units
- Driving process improvements across forecasting and reporting models
- Supporting broader FP&A and management reporting activities during quieter periods
About You
We're looking for an experienced qualified accountant who combines strong technical finance skills with commercial awareness. You will ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Practice-trained background, ideally Big 4 or Top 10
- Strong cash flow forecasting and liquidity management experience
- Excellent understanding of working capital and balance sheet movements
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capability, including complex three-statement models
- Experience operating within large, complex or PE-backed businesses
- A track record of improving reporting processes and financial models
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate independently from day one
This role would suit someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technical finance, commercial analysis and strategic decision support rather than a traditional FP&A reporting role.
The Opportunity
- Immediate requirement with interviews taking place shortly
- High-profile role with exposure to senior finance leadership
- Opportunity to make a tangible impact within a complex international group
- Potential for contract extension beyond the initial term
- Hybrid working model with offices in Central London
