About The Role

Partnering with a high-growth Consumer brand who are looking to bring in a Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial planning, performance reporting and business partnering across a fast-paced, multi-channel consumer business. This role provides insight to support decision-making across key commercial and operational areas. You will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and financial analysis, while helping drive business performance through a strong understanding of operational and commercial drivers.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Lead the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long-range planning processes.
- Own the consolidation and review of budgets, forecasts and actual performance across multiple business areas.
- Deliver accurate and insightful weekly and monthly reporting on revenue, gross margin, operating costs and profitability.
- Own the preparation and presentation of monthly business review packs for senior leadership and investors.
- Provide clear analysis of financial performance, highlighting key risks, opportunities and actions.
- Lead scenario modelling, investment appraisals and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyse sales, pricing, product mix, channel performance and margin trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Act as a key finance business partner to Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, E-commerce and Marketing teams.
- Challenge assumptions and provide financial insight to improve decision quality across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting tools and dashboards.

**Skills & Experience**

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience within FP&A, commercial finance
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis.
- Experience analysing revenue, gross margin, operating costs and profitability across multiple products, customers or channels.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including integrated forecasting and scenario planning.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to operational drivers.
- Confident presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear action.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

**Desirable Experience**

- Experience within consumer goods, retail, e-commerce or another multi-channel environment.
- Track record of partnering with commercial teams to influence business performance.
- Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial planning platforms.
- Understanding of data analytics tools and large data sets, including SQL or data warehouse environments.
