About The Role
I am currently working with a highly regarded professional services firm that is looking to strengthen its Employment Tax offering with the appointment of an experienced Manager. This opportunity would suit an individual who enjoys building client relationships, solving complex employment tax issues, and working across a varied portfolio of businesses ranging from privately owned companies through to large corporate groups.
The Role:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, providing advice across a broad range of employment tax matters.
- Supporting businesses with employment tax compliance and helping them navigate their reporting obligations.
- Advising on employee benefits, expenses, PAYE, and National Insurance considerations.
- Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Providing practical guidance on workforce-related tax issues, including employment status and off-payroll working considerations.
- Supporting transaction-related projects, restructures, and other advisory assignments as they arise.
- Working closely with colleagues across tax and advisory teams to deliver commercially focused solutions.
- Developing long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser on employment tax matters.
About You:
- Relevant employment tax experience gained within practice, industry, or professional services.
- Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ATT, or equivalent), or approaching qualification.
- Strong understanding of UK employment tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Comfortable managing multiple client engagements and balancing competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
- Keen to develop both technically and commercially within a growing team environment.
