Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About The Role

An established financial services business is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join its finance team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role during a period of transformation, supporting budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and strategic decision making.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, helping to drive financial insight, improve planning processes, and support key commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting cycles
- Deliver insightful analysis of business and financial performance
- Prepare management reporting and presentations for senior leadership
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models
- Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions and improve outcomes
- Support investment appraisals, business cases, and strategic projects
- Drive continuous improvements across reporting, planning, and forecasting processes
- Enhance data analytics and management information capabilities
- Contribute to wider finance transformation initiatives

Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
- Strong FP&A, commercial finance, or financial control experience
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Background within financial services, investment management, wealth management, asset management, or another regulated environment
- Experience with planning and reporting tools would be highly advantageous
- The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
