Interim Financial Accountant

About The Role

Our client is exclusively partnering with an international technology client looking for an Interim Financial Accountant. This pivotal role sits at the core of the financial reporting team, where you'll contribute to delivering accurate, high-quality financial insights that underpin strategic decision-making.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Support the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse financial information across the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow to investigate variances.
- Take ownership of investigating and resolving reporting issues.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting processes, reducing manual effort.
- Partner with Finance Operations, FP&A, and wider Finance teams.
- Support audit and governance activities throughout the reporting cycle.
- Ad hoc tasks.

**Required Skills:**

- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
- Approximately 1–2 years' post-qualified experience in financial reporting, financial accounting, or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience managing reporting processes and outputs.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and large dataset analysis.
- Experience using Power Query, Alteryx, or comparable automation tools is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting fundamentals across the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow.
