The position offers a blend of business partnering, performance analysis, and strategic project work within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key responsibilities:

- Deliver insightful financial and business analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities across multiple areas of the organisation.
- Produce high-quality management information and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Analyse revenue, margin, and cost performance, providing clear recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Monitor key business metrics and investigate the underlying drivers of performance.
- Develop meaningful insights that support growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives and business improvement projects across the organisation.
- Assist in the development of enhanced reporting capabilities, dashboards, and management information tools.
- Challenge assumptions and provide constructive recommendations to influence decision-making.
- Prepare clear and concise presentations for senior leadership audiences.
- Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted commercial partner and advisor.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience within Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or FP&A.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and identify key performance drivers.
- Demonstrable experience influencing and challenging senior stakeholders in a credible and professional manner.
- Experience within a private equity-backed, high-growth, or performance-driven environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information into commercial insight.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting, planning, or business intelligence tools.
- A proactive, inquisitive, and commercially minded approach with a genuine interest in business performance.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to candidates who have trained within a leading accountancy firm and subsequently moved into commercial finance, business partnering, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or strategic FP&A roles. The successful individual will be intellectually curious, highly analytical, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where insight, challenge, and commercial thinking are highly valued.
