About The Role

Senior Finance Analyst
£65,000 – £72,000 + bonus and excellent benefits
London | Hybrid – 3-4 days per week in the office

Our client is partnering with a large, international PE-backed technology business to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst. This is a broad commercial finance and FP&A role, working closely with senior operational and finance stakeholders across an international organisation. You will provide high-quality analysis and insight to support business performance, planning and decision-making, while also contributing to a wider programme of finance transformation and continuous improvement.

The role would suit a qualified accountant looking to develop their commercial finance and business partnering experience within a complex global business. There will be significant exposure to senior leadership, international stakeholders and the opportunity for overseas travel.

**Key responsibilities:**

- Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning
- Provide analysis and insight across revenue, margin, costs, profitability and operational performance
- Partner with senior operational stakeholders across multiple international markets
- Lead analysis around labour rates, utilisation, productivity and cost performance
- Produce monthly management reporting, KPI analysis and senior leadership presentations
- Undertake detailed variance analysis and investigate key drivers of financial performance
- Analyse contract and operational performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Build financial models and provide commercial analysis to support key business decisions
- Support investment appraisals, business cases and benefits tracking
- Develop and improve financial and operational KPIs
- Support finance transformation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Help standardise reporting, processes and systems across the international finance function
- Provide finance support across areas including inventory, supply chain and warranty costs

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience across FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering. You will have excellent analytical skills and be comfortable translating complex financial information into clear, commercially focused insight for senior stakeholders. A strong grounding in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis is important, together with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.

You will be confident partnering with and constructively challenging senior non-finance stakeholders, ideally within a large, complex or international organisation. Experience within an operational finance environment, including manufacturing, supply chain, inventory or service-based businesses, would be advantageous, while exposure to finance transformation, process improvement, Power BI or other reporting and analytical tools would also be attractive.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful international business at an important stage of its development. The role offers genuine breadth across FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and transformation, together with significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
